What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy supports people to engage in all the activities that occupy their time.

For children the main types of "occupations" (activities of daily life) are learning, play and self-care. If your child is experiencing challenges in any of these areas, an occupational therapist can work with you and your child to problem solve practical solutions and support skill development to enable them to overcome obstacles. Here at Skye Therapy, our occupational therapist strive to help children do their best in all activities they need and want to do.

While we specialise in developing attention in children, our OTs are trained and capable to help with all areas of learning, play and self-care. We would love to help your child!
